yep not near as easy as with mammals and we have enough issues with young yak calves.

Yep. Not going to even think about chicks for a bit. Peach is going to need the care. Gotta make sure she doesn’t lick compulsively, gotta irrigate her sutures after she eats (easier said than done....today was just spray in the general direction and hope There’s a lot of swelling and soreness right now)

We’ll see if I get her a cone of shame. I’ll see how she’s doing tomorrow.

Oh and she might start coming to work with me. #sorrynotsorry but she needs her mox every eight hours soooooo...I figure this way I can monitor her....make sure she gets her meds on time....

Morning all, Nightmares all night. Dreaming of Shadow. I seen Versailles on the news this am. The grocery store that was tore up . The owner, A very sweet old man is also fighting for his life . I sure hope he makes it. He is good to everyone and if you need food and dont have money he would give it to you. He gave me food once when I first got the boys and I know he gave DD diapers and milk before too. I think everyone that lives in Versailles and around there went to his store last night staying in their cars and flashing their headlights on the store to honor him. I would of went had I known.
