CDC sezs, dogs can get hair cut but human is a nope.
Bandit bit me today when I got home. Gave me a blood blister.

A dog tested positive for covid today. Pug. Dog's people had the virus, and when the dog started acting sick, they had it tested. So domestic cats and dogs can get this. No telling if they can spread it or if it is dangerous for them.

I was at walmart today... they had lots of paper towels, tissues, and some TP, and bleach! No hand wipes, sanitizer or rubbing alcohol, and no flour. Not a single bag of flour! Costco had some organic flour, but you had to buy 20 lbs. Yeah, sure.

Tom is resting. everything went ok. He now has one toenail less to cut. He is bed bound for at least this week til we see the dr again. They didnt deliver his potty chair so I told them I will inform Tom he isnt allowed to poop today. I brought him in the house myself and the bees started stinging my legs again. Man that hurts !
Toms words coming home. "Man, I never in my life.. I dont know what happened, I cant say what happened but I was with you then I woke up w/ a bunch of nurses around me. " I asked did you think you had died and that was your 40 virgins ? He said no but I did ask them if they were angels. He then decided he wanted to go for a walk and opened the car door. Only problem w/ that was I was doing 60.
I got in the doors ok . Lady said you cant go up I will take him. I said No thank you, I will take him myself. She started about no one being allowed and I interrupted saying Call David, Umm I mean Dr. schewmacher.. hahaha She handed me the sticker. So we are up there and he is prepped but still a 45 min wait I told Tom I was going out to smoke. Went to the nurses station and said I will BB. Nurse says, If you go out their not going to let you back up.
I gave her the eye and asked they who? You? They will let me back. If I dont get back in it will be you. Is there a reason you want me to pass out on your floor from a sugar drop? If you dont let me back in there will be no surgery so you explain to me who wont let me back in? She mumbled something about downstairs but I won that battle.
I may be spoiled but I am used to getting my own way even if I need to fight for it. Guess I dont take to the word no very well.
Dr said Tom doesnt have much blood flow there so he isnt sure this will heal. Time will tell.

Well thank goodness he didn't get the door open all the way!

Robert was sleeping when we got home so I put the dogs out back and Bandit was soo excited to see me he bit my elbow. It kinda hurt too. Then I went to get Tom and him and Frosty beat me to the front jumping all over us. Sweet Star stayed where she belonged.

There will never be another Star. Frosty would have been fine, except you got Bandit and he's a trouble maker, a bad influence. Baaaad to the bone!

yes, he said he went to healthy bone. Frosty is a bad girl too. She ran away right after I got her spayed. 3 days someone found her. Speaking of that someone. Her mom was my groomer. Found out tonight she died over 2 yrs ago. So who put the burn marks on Bandit ? Her DD the same one that found Frosty .
My soda had chicks dipped in it. LOL

If people even notice. They are estimating that 25-50% of people infected with covid don't even know they had it. No symptoms. Who knows what it will do to dogs. This virus is going to be a part of our lives for the foreseeable future. Some disturbing news is that there has never yet been a successful vaccine developed for any coronavirus. That's why we don't have a cure for the common cold, which is caused by a different coronavirus. Most people don't remember the other coronavirus outbreaks... SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome- also from China) or MERS (middle east respiratory syndrome), but these other coronaviruses wreaked some havoc in their day. Covid is more contagious, but it might not end up being as deadly (percentage wise) as some of the others. Like the others, we will figure out how to live with covid, eventually. And it certainly won't be the last time something like this happens.
