So, I've got a humanities high school assignment at the moment. Draft is due next week, Monday. I'm half way done, but my friends are ahead of me. I'm a bit of a panicker when I'm behind in something important. I'm realled stressed about it. I've still got alot of other work to do still too. I'm not sleeping well, and even right now I feel like I'm about to crash. This may sound a bit stupid to you guys, but I needed to vent

Why does it matter if your friends are ahead of your current progress? It is Wed AM (east coast USA) so you have over 4 full days to work on it and you are already half done. Organize your thoughts, set aside some time every day. You'll get it done!!

Let me guess, like my DD1 you are a perfectionist. Am I right?

and the French like to lose most if not all of the last sound of a word

Not in california. WE have to import rescue animals.

Apparently it is the same in Maine. They import dogs from the south where lots of people just let their dogs breed.

Husband gets nothing for anniversary or Christmas this year.

I mean come on.

He already GOT his anniversary and Christmas presents! For each, give him a card with directions on where to find his new shop tools, put a bow on them for that day.

We lost a bundle. Not sure how long it will take to get back to where we were.

Remember it isn't lost until you sell! I didn't even look in March, end of April looked better, recovered half of what was lost in March. (Yes I AM trying to convince myself it won't be too bad because there is still a lot of loss)

I should go out and check my chicks.

At MIDNIGHT??? Heck, mine go to roost and get locked in about 8 PM right now.

Things are hard. Times of stress make it hard to concentrate and focus (why granny saw so much of me yesterday oops) so be kind to yourself. And don’t worry, we all vent on here. This is our safe spot to express what bugs us, get ideas, or so on.

Today is my Friday. I took tomorrow off so I get a lovely five day weekend. I’ve just been so burnt lately.
