I would be afraid the chicks would find that.

I think it's non toxic to pets. You're putting shavings in there, right? Or put it on the outside, or up high where no chicken can reach.

I have a small one w/ chicken print made by a member here. Trying to remember whats in it but if it gets wet it will sprout. LOL

Once you microwave it, it shouldn't sprout... i shouldn't think.

Isn't there some sort of stuff that comes in a tube, you squeeze some out, they carry it off and it kills them?

I know there is a powder but don't recall the name. I'll be needing some too. Not for the coop, for the house.

My shoulder and neck loosened up with use. Soon I will be going out to do another wagonload.
More space for chicks is needed! They are growing like weeds. Some of the Leghorn pullets are already getting up on perches!

I just talked to the shrimp farm. They have them packaged and a label w/ tracking # but havent made it to the PO yet. Being mailed usps priority mail.
