I've tried senna, cap, only made it worse. I have to handle fiber very carefully or I wind up more miserable than I was without the fiber. Even with baked beans, a half a cup serving is all I can tolerate, same with regular beans which I love. If I eat them too many days in a row I'm in big misery.Lots of things you can do to feel better with IBS. There is a book with information on diet. I feel a whole lot better just taking Senna, and eating things like fig cookies, dried apricots and figs. Plus lots of veggies.
It's a balancing act and I'm a lousy juggler.
