No, the diet won't control the cancer, sorry. She has something called intestinal leukemia or intestinal lymphoma. Right now her guts are really inflamed. The diet is easy on the gut so she can keep down what she eats. She had gone from 12 lbs to 8. She really needs the nutrition to build back her strength and support her immune system. The prednisone will also help build up her immune system. It might also be anti-inflammatory to help calm her gut. I'm hoping she's good for a year or two. Maybe more.Im losing it Blue. LOL
Good news on the cat. Yes, you posted about her here and I have Never heard of a diet controlling cancer.
Wow. That was the second hardest call I’ll have to make. Called the vet to ask about options for putting peach down. It’ll be just over $300 all said and done and that gives me the ashes back.
I came home today and she was lying in her spot. I come in the yard...she doesn’t budge until I’m almost on top of her...
Anh wants her to go until the fourth so she can have one last hurrah. I...don’t know. She’s still eating but...with me she shows it.
Mmmmm! I'm going to make those with zucchini! Drool!Squash Patties
2 cups yellow squash, finely chopped
1 cup onion, finely chopped
1 egg, beaten
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
½ cup, plus 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
vegetable oil
In a large bowl, combine squash, onion, egg, salt and pepper. Mix well. Stir in flour. In a skillet, heat ½-inch oil over medium-high heat. Using a tablespoon, drop batter into oil. Cook about 3 minutes per side or until golden brown, turning once. Drain patties on paper towels.
