Granny's gone and done it again

I don't drink milk any more, used to drink more of that than anything. I occasionally have a small amount of cheese, and I gave up ice cream.
Good on ya, as my grandmother would say. I have an uncle with constant sinus problem, and is always clearing his throat.. he just loves his milk.

Hey Granny, how are you feeling today? I am SO tired! Thank goodness I only have a milder case of Scleroderma, and not Lupus. And another ear infection that is not draining for some reason , full of pus. So I am on antibiotics, which always make me feel tired too. Just want to sleep.
:hugsCap. Seems like you just can't catch a break, Girl! 🙏🙏🙏 But we've got your back! ❤

I used to have sinus issues, and thought I was going to have to quit milk. I didn't like soy, almond or rice milks, so finally tried organic milk and bingo! I can drink that in moderation with no problems. Expensive but worth it, and the flavor is superior.

It's an autoimmune disease with skin problems and other issues.
Sorry to hear, Cap. Glad it's mild and jumping for joy you don't have Lupus! Hope your ear infection clears up. Purulent is not a nice word when the dr is talking about what's inside you. 🤒 Sounds like you've already started, but changes in diet can really make a difference. There might be some holistic and diet advice about your specific autoimmune issue. Worth a try!

btw, I haven't noticed any irregularity in 'droppings' until today. One was like soupy mud. They all had apple cider vinegar in their water until they went outside at 5 weeks old. Here's Henri laying on his side to take the pressure off the injured leg/foot. He just started this today, or it was the first time I caught him doing it. Possible it's his normal thing when in the 'dog house'
Over the years, I have had a few hens come up lame... no obvious injury, break, or extreme damage, but obviously in pain. I let them be after the initial exam. All three (the ones that I can remember) did a lot of limping, laying around, some chose to sleep in a nest box rather than roost. Good news is they all got better on their own. 4 weeks or so. One took a lot longer... almost 5 months... Buster, a very heavy Cuckoo Orp who probably sprained something in her hip getting off the roost. I have an 8 yr old EE that has been limping a bit, but hasn't slowed her down much. Was hanging out on the patio and got a good look at Monkey's foot... middle toe is swollen, possible broken, but I'm letting her be. With Monkey, the cure would be worse than the problem!

Do you call your Henri "Henry" or "Ohnri"?
We have a cat named Henry that gets called all sorts of things :D but Ohnri is my favorite. Gives him some class!
