To the dog? I open a capsule, sprinkle it on a piece of lunchmeat, roll it up and down the hatch it goes! If you know your dogs weight, use the amount prescribed for 'child' or adult'. I know, lunchmeat is expensive, but far cheaper than $50 - 60 for a tube of antibiotics from the vet.

I am mixing up goat electrolytes for my little girlie goat with the poopies.

You can also check with the vet and see if you can give her some imodium (sp) pooper stopper upper. Used to give it to foals if they got the runs.

Groovy! Are you set up to quarantine any you take? I'm not, so I now have a closed flock. Just take chicks on order from hatcheries... that looks SO fun! When are you going? How many do you have room for?

Nopes, no ability to quarantine since Henri is in the garden. But after this year's fiasco with getting 5 cockerels and 1 pullet, I'm game for just about anything. I can put Henrietta Brown in with Henri, and let Charlie Sheen get used to new hens all by himself. I only want 3-4 more hens. I've got a 400 sqft area and don't want to over load it. Nor do I need more eggs than we (myself and chickens) can eat. LOL
