oh and it IS the cory cats that require a "storm" to breed so most likely the barometric pressure was high that day and water level low . adding fresh water at that time would of caused them to breed.

Male and female can be sexed by their top fin . One is pointed one rounded. (so they say) I cant see well enough and they need a tube/cave. Closed on one end and tilted a very little bit towards the closed in.

Not sure if it was them or the pleco but someone was digging a cave lol. I’ll have to check their top fins
 
I am doing NONE of those things in that video. I cant help that. I cant get my hands on the things they need. Brine shrimp eggs, sponge filters, I have gravel on the bottom. You name it, I am breaking all the rules.

I had catfish breed in one of my tanks when I was a teen. Never saw them until the were 1/4" or so. Very cute!
