Granny's gone and done it again

there are ants in one of my cupboards ! WHY? Nothing up there but my can of coffee, styro cups and mugs.
They are just following the path that some wandering ant laid out. They are taking the bait, so just leave them be. Don't mess up their paths or hamper their way. That way the bait will get back to the nest and kill the whole colony more quickly. It can take a few days, but if you leave them to it, they will all be gone soon.

Hot, very hot. I got my truck back after they fixed it. So that is good. Spent quite a while cutting branches for the goats. When they get big enough to not go through the fence, they can pick their own leaves.
My surgery will be Monday afternoon, which sucks because I can't eat or drink after midnight. They are going to put me out for the procedure.
Oh, I think I would want to be out completely if someone was working on my already sore ear.
I wonder, when the goats get bigger and tackle all the brush you have around there , if that will lessen the tick load around there. For now, you are going to have to check those goats along with the dogs. ticks

Yeah, but they want you there an hour early and it takes an hour to drive there.
You can probably suck on a little ice if your mouth is that dry. Water leaves the stomach pretty quickly. Call and ask the dr office about it. They let me drink a bit a couple hours before the colonoscopy.

Yesterday we had the cutest little visitors in the backyard... Papa quail, with mama close behind, and 9 tiny chicks! They couldn't have been more than a few days old. Still didn't have much in the way of wing feathers. Hope they make it. The spring hatch didn't go so great for the neighborhood quail. They are little scarce this year, so hoping the summer hatch is more successful. I have water out for them.
