Big Boomers incoming here... but so far just a sprinkle.. Good thing I got the berm and culvert weed ate this morning, then pulled the battery from the car and got a new one.. old one wouldn't even turn the car over after being on the charger overnight.. then laid down for a bit with my tablet and Gator tator after starting a bon fire. Big old pile of brush burned while I took a not-siesta.. went out and pushed stuff into the pile that was too far out to burn first round, now the sprinkles. Depending on how much rain we get, I need to get busy and pull some of the dirt out of the culvert tomorrow and fix a hole near the bottom of the deck steps.. had a cave in there where chipmunks had previously had a burrow. Never stops, always something to do.

That's what I did and not ashamed to say it. One of the dog houses I originally started with that will be the future 'barn for bairns' had a hornets nest in it... I shooed the chickens away and plastered it good.. then picked up all the dead ones with a shobel.
