Bruiser and crew of hens.. I suspect the hen laying eggs is the one who's constantly with him. I've seen him breeding her a time or two.

I shampooed my hair last night and I looked in the mirror and they was a big blob of white there at my temple. I thought how in the world did I miss getting that washed out ? So I wet it and realized it wasnt coming off.

I have silver scattered thru out my hair, but the only streaks are at my temples still.. I love them!

Funny, The only hairs in my hairbrush are the silver ones. I think.. "Oh no" because I want to keep them.. They are a sign of wisdom in some cultures.

Charlie Sheen and Henrietta Brown are 20 weeks old now. Still waiting on the 'first' egg from them. Those two boids are huge! Seems the BSLs are so much bigger than the Barred Rocks.

Henrietta Brown was the ONLY pullet I got out of 6 chicks at TSC. I didn't ask for BSL's either, but Black Asians.. and that is what the tray was labeled. If any of the current eggs that have been layed hatch, I can expand the flock.
I have 2 Beifelders, 2 Buff Orphingtons, and 2 questionables in the brooder. (Don't know if they are EE's or Marans. or EE and Marans. Have to wait a few more weeks to know for sure.

Actually, I tortured #2 way more than #1, so he wanted to get out of the house as soon as possible! Off to college and out of state to boot!
(He's a really good kid too, and brainy.)
