Mr. Darcy isn’t drying quickly enough in his plastic pot. I’ve read succulents do better in terra cotta because it’s porous and absorbs moisture, so the soil doesn’t sit wet as long.

oh I dont think painting the outside would hurt but I dont know. Sorry

thats true. Is that the bloat goat ? I remember when Campings goats were in labor they pushed their heads against the wall from pain.

Her bloat seems better, she did poop today. But she has a Thiamine deficiency, so it affects her nerves and brain.

I’m up to five potted succulents and a couple of cuttings I’m trying to root.

I have wandering jew, purple cane, and ice plant that I need to pot. Their roots are long enough now.

my Liddle kiddies made it allllllllllll the way over to the sand box... Opened the door to check on food and water, and there they were, pecking sand.. a few were perched on the limb I put in the brooder.

Andddddddddd, it was late this afternoon, but a second egg appeared in the hen house. Shaped a bit differently than the first, and a shade lighter in color. I suspect another hen is adding to the clutch.

You were saying something earlier about the time of day your hen lays... The process to create an egg ready for deposit takes 26 hrs, so she will lay later each day as time passes, and skip a day when the timing has her laying in the dark.

Oh my goodness! You were hotter than I was at 89, and that's with everything burning!! So much smoke in the sky it acted like clouds and cut the sun a bit. First time I've been grateful for smoke because the expected temp was 102.
