Yuppers, I brought cuttings from two of the ones I had at the old place.. One purkle and the other white with red centers.

No. We are mid way between 2 major fires. Both would have to pass through a different town to get to us. Don't think it will happen.

However, the same night you were worried about us evacuating, a small brush fire popped up about 4 miles from us. That's getting a little close. It was after 9 at night and in an area that used to be rural, but a bunch of fancy homes went in 15 years ago... they got it out quick and cancelled the evacuation for that area. We still didn't hear how it started. Some moron doing something moronic. Too far for live embers to have started it and no power outage.

Im glad you havent needed to leave. I bet you dont get a lot of sleep w/ that worry hanging over your head. I had a bad dream that night. Reason I called you.

I plant a half tray of these around the front flower bed, just for low ground cover in front of the giant spider lilies and under the althea.

And the ever faithful begonias come back year after year.
