Sprout mats are like a square of carpet that the sprouting seeds make when the roots grow and start getting all tangled together.. I've thrown bird seed out in the coops and it's sprouting here and there... then poof it disappears, so the kids are munching on the newly sprouted millet and stuff.Will you explain "sprout mats" to someone who never heard of em and doesn't have a clue, please?
