Granny's gone and done it again

I just got in from doing my coops thing. There is just something funny about me following DH around the yard while we are talking with a rooster tucked under my arm so I can clip his toenails.

Then I spent 10 minutes chasing down a rooster with a broken upper beak that is growing back but his lower beak was over grown and needed trimming.

I finally was able to corner him in the bachelor coop and get the job done after he bit me two or three times. I was glad his beak isn't up to 100%

But WHY is it that when you are trying to catch a stubborn rooster that doesn't want to be caught that you inevitably put your arm or hand down on a juicy poop? Or they poop on your head from a roost bar advantage.

I swear they are laughing at me every time I do it.
It's always a smelly cecal poop too!
