Morning y’all. Worked in my flower beds today, all of my pots are full of termites. I guess there’s a lot of bark in the soil I picked. When I watered they just all floated to the top. I’m also blaming them for my plant deaths now. Everything in the ground is fine. Everything in a pot is dead.

Sunny out there today, going to be hotter than yesterday. Going to need feed again soon.

Still just above 80 here, but the humidity is 90% Just came in from mowing the hay field on mini mountain.. Got nearly all of it done already but I wo' out.

I need to do the feed run today also. Amazing how much they waste....er.....eat.

@Granny Hatchet I teared up when I saw the picture of your dog. My Bunny, who died three years ago, could have been a twin to your dog only she was black and grey. Such a sweet girl. Her passion in life was her 'cookies' and she never met a person she didn't like. Our first year here on our farm, she fell into the creek when it was at flood stage and got stuck on a ledge. I tied a rope around my waist that my husband had control of and went in out after her. I was able to snare her by her collar and the scruff of her neck and told her to swim to daddy. She did with me hanging on to her.

I miss her to this day.

My niece is going to be 40 next year.

What's that saying, you know you are getting old when your kids start looking middle age?

We only have a shower so no reading in the tub for me either. Plus I have a notebook for reading kindle so my luck if I did have a tub I'd just drop the silly thing in it.

My son will be 46 this month. Daughter is already 40. I'm olddddddddddd... Now I almost know what my dad felt like when I called to tell him I got my first pair of bifocals.. I laughed and said.. See how old you are? Always the naughty daughter.
