I am going to put in more hours per day. Need to make some housing for my polish grow outs.

I can see now why you ordered 1000 cable ties (zip ties). I used up all the shorter ones in the first bag I got... Then opened another bag of 100 and I'm almost through that bag too.. Great things for attaching chicken wire to the cattle panels.

There are some things screwed on in the coop I need to remove so I can finish painting. Feeling hot. I think this coop needs more windows.

I took Sidney for a training walk in the timber so now my feet are hurting but hey, that is why they invented pain pills, Voltaren gel and Salonpas with Lidocaine, right?

I was 8" short on wire for the roof of the Serama run. Argh. I did get the third and last piece of wire fencing lashed to the second piece, but not lashed to the pen next to it.

If it were up to me, I would have put wooden framing up to hold the wire. But trying to cut back on building costs.

Well done . Keep an eye out for any wood going for free, I found a few good lengths my nieghbors were getting rid of. I always spare them a few eggs as they are really good nieghbors.

I will have to get a picture of the painted side of the coop tomorrow, it's too dark in there right now. Need to sweep off the skylight. This is where I started painting today. All that crap on the walls even though I scrubbed them. And the perches need replacement.

I am always looking for stuff to use that others don't want. Sadly most of the wood I get free is under 4 feet long. I did score some big pallet like things that I plan to make into a coop. My truck bed is 4'x8' and I had to put the thing in at an angle to get it to fit!
