Hi everyone! I’m kind of a chicken newbie. I have been researching and really trying to learn a lot. We have 26 chickens-and 2 Roos (hopefully that’s all!) we have a bunch of different breeds , most of them were born in July but I have 7 who are just staring to lay and 5 who are younger. We are still playing with the coop and the run. We’re in southern SC so we’re looking forward to cooler weather for them and us! We also have 10 ducks who are super fun to watch in a separate area. They have all been my stress relief these last few months! And duck eggs are delicious! Who knew?? So happy to be here y’all!

We who? Im nosy as one of the first things you will learn here. LOL
The second is we talk chicken but so much more then just chickens. We are matured group for the most part and sometimes a little raunchy

My husband and I bought 6 acres on St Helena island, SC last summer. We have 4 boys-22, 20, 17, 15. The two youngest are here with us, the other two do their own thing. We also have some fur babies-Zeus the Great Dane, Max the Australian Sheppard/pit mix and Romeo the 17 year old lilac Siamese cat who is the boss of all of us!

4 boys ! You have had your hands full ! LOL I bet your place is lovely. It sounds like it would be. I am on 2.5 acres in the middle of no where with a husband 25 yrs my senior and a son at home of 27.

It was busy-probably why I am always looking for something to do lol
