Granny's gone and done it again

Hi wishing, all settled back in? I bet your happy you dont have to watch out for that coyote now.
Yeah, well, if it isn't one thing it's another. Walked up to give the seramas some kale and some flapping up in the oak made the big hens sing an alert. I looked and saw a little sharp shinned hawk high up in the tree, They're too little to bother the big hens, so I don't worry about them. Sadly, the sermas have to stay in the coop all the time. They miss coming out.
Anyway, I was trying to get a better look at it, you rarely see them out in the open, and glancing around in the branches, I was startled to see a second hawk staring right at me! What the hay? Two of them? The second was a Cooper's hawk, slightly larger, but they still don't go after the big hens. I moved a bit to get a little better look and it took off carrying something. All I saw was the tail. Squirrel. I was wondering what happened to them!

were they in the same tree ? I imagine all the critters are misplaced right now because of the fires. I think about the ones on the nest. Hopefully this time of year there isnt too many doing that.
Yeah, breeding season is long over. These hawks are regulars around here now. They hunt the quail. When Belle was a live, she wouldn't allow the quail in the yard, so hawks were rarely a problem. Now they are. No more bantams for me.

Thats 1/3rd. You do type slow. I forget about that. I go faster w/ 2 fingers. LOL
Now you confuse me. How many were you smoking before and how many are you now?

this pain is outrageous If I take a pill now I will be up all night.
Won't you be up anyway? Night before a procedure? Who sleeps? Not me.
