You had a rough day yesterday.I knew this. sigh... My mind aint all here today.

Water at the farm is very sulfury. Smells like stinky egg smell, especially when it's warm, like in the shower.

Last a few what? Maybe you should call the dr office.
They did just go through a fire...
There is 20 acres of rangeland that I would love to have mowed or chomped down by a few industrious bovines. Dad mows around the houses, but it's still pretty scary how high the dry grass is on the rest of the farm. Very hilly too.
I guess a bull yak could fend off a mountain lion...
Just getting ready to say the same thing about my GM. That water was terrible but she drank it just fine. Mom said thats why she never got sick. You had a rough day yesterday.

Hairless sheep would good for keeping the lions from getting hairballs, I guess... Would need something bigger or fiercer to be able to fend for themselves.
I doubt my dad would want any animals running on the property now anyway. He'd feel obligated to care for them. Too busy caring for himself these days.
If I got a small yak or two I could squeeze them in the backyard and take them on hikes for exercise.
Yes, we used to run a few Herefords. They never had any trouble.Pretty sure a cow would do damage as well.
That's exactly why I was dreaming about yaks... to have tame ones for packing. I think that would be fun. I can't carry a backpack with my crappy back, but think of all the places I could go with my pack yak! Have to have at least 2 though, so they have a friend.get a weanling and then neuter it. Tame down nicely and you can train to ride or be a pack animal as well. Better yet get to and train them to pull a chariot for you.
In Florida when they pump out too much ground water, the salt water comes in from the ocean to fill the void.Whole lot of people in this state live in desert areas. Not enough water naturally there to support the huge populations in and around Los Angeles and all of the productive farmland in the central valley does not get any rain during growing season. Water is a valuable commodity in CA. There are canals for moving massive amounts of water south where it's needed and reservoir systems to collect water during the winter rains. As the summer passes, the reservoirs get lower and lower, but get replenished as the snow in the mountains melts and helps the reservoirs last until it rains again. There is ground water too, that is pumped out in massive amounts, but they are taking a huge chance doing that. Water tables are getting lower and lower and we don't know what will happen if we end up with huge empty voids deep under the ground. Some municipal wells are thousands of feet deep and pumping ancient waters. Unknown if those will be refilled naturally or what the effects of emptying them will be. And then we are having droughts...
It's kind of a mess.
Check out their humps or lack of I should say. Very skinny meaning they have no fat reserves. That didnt happen over night. My best guess assuming she is a good person and feeding them is the heat. Then look at the horse , is it normal to see the ribs ? My eyes are bad though. Maybe I am seeing things.
Won't they have someone put it in the car for you?ya he will have to go.I cant lift those 50 lb bags
maybe you guys should move to the farm?Yes, we used to run a few Herefords. They never had any trouble.

I don't see it happening though. Already got enough on my plate without adding more.
