Granny's gone and done it again

I don't live in the city. Power hardly ever goes out in town.

Right after the power came back on, I heard an engine with siren on leave from the volunteer fire station (right down the road from us). Not too long after, I could hear a whole bunch of vehicles with sirens screaming by, heading up the road... probably CHP and ambulances. Looked on my google maps, and there was obviously an accident on the road, at a particularly steep part with a sharp curve. Map was showing traffic stopped there. Hope no one was badly hurt and thank goodness they didn't hit a power pole!

Drivers are so reckless on our country roads. The road into the nearest town has a big sign posted showing the number of accidents for the past 6 months. Right now it's at 7. Couple years ago it was up to 13. That's over 2 accidents a month. Bunch of thoughtless idiots.
I probably wont ever understand w/o seeing Ca. for myself.
reminded me of that old show. CHiPs
