Yeah, even baby bunnies can scream pretty loudly.
I got the skirt done on the rehab coop. And the kids helped shovel dirt on top of the hardware cloth. Also hung a gate today on the fence I am putting up around chicken city. . . Put the floor into the quail coop turned brooder and put the window in the door.
And moved a rabbit cage closer to where I want it to be. Then, with it upside down, I scrubbed the bottom with a wire brush and painted the outside of the wood. Looks so much better with a fresh coat of paint. Need to paint the interior as well. The hay feeder was chicken wire, but it didn't last so it will be replaced by 1x1 heavy gauge wire mesh.

I did get the nest boxes cleaned out and sprayed for bugs in the duplex coop. I think I may start calling it the watermelon coop. Pink inside and green outside!
Hopefully tomorrow I can saw down a few trees for perches. And I have some plywood to tack up on the coop divider where I ripped out some chicken wire.
My Jubilee Orpingtons are getting huge!

Today Bella got hit in the face by a chicken she was trying to catch after dark. Some tears were shed.

Lol, she's eating something. It may need a new starter. The battery was low, so hubby charged it.

Cap, DIL put their generator on my back porch so we can use it if needed and said for us to maybe cover it w/ a tarp. We didnt yet and it rained all day. Have we ruined it ?

Idk. Never had a generator. Probably depending on what type it is.

I think they are built to be outdoors so hopefully it will be ok.
