kids who are a handful at home usually are great in school---they like boundaries, and as long as rules are fair and equal to everyone, they handle it. kids can spot a weakness or a phony a mile away. it helped that I really like kids, too

My SD is coming in tomorrow to spend the night and take me thursday.

parents always said that! on a field trip, I'd always see the other side of a kid if his/her parent was a chaperone! night and day! kids know a pushover when they see one
