Mostly basic training. That you can start as soon as they open their eyes. That will make them better for those that want to train them for a specific disability. I have PTSD and so does Lucy. So we fit very well.
The local Dollar General has adopted her as their model Service Dog Mascot.

Why do you use the halti on her? Or nose strap that is in the picture?

It is a halti, just like using a halter on a horse. That is so, when she wants to play with another dog, I have her under control. It is a gentle lead, as with horses, where the head goes, the body follows.
