Depends on how close the the cage it is. It could.

I had a long-haired Siamese that used to lie on top of a big rectangular cage with three parakeets in it, didn't seem to bother the birds at all. One of them would cling to the top of the cage, made out of 1/4" hw cloth, and pluck the cat's belly fur. They seemed to be great friends.

I can't take many Pain meds, as the ones that work, I become allergic to. I have DDD as well, in my spine from base of skull on down. I have lost 3 inches of height due to it. As well as other problems I don't like to go into.

Oof, sorry to hear this, Verna. Obviously I am behind and trying to get caught up. We watched a Lord of the Rings movie tonight for some reason.
