Granny's gone and done it again

I used to make good chewy CC cookies and then they started coming out cake like so Istopped making them. I never did figure out what I was doing wrong.
They sound good to me! Would they not hold together?

I eat them anyway they come out, as long as there's chocolate in there somewhere.

I feel terrible taking Roberts $ I didnt ask. He offered. He said We need transportation to get my jerky dont we ? LOL I hope it can be fixed for that price anyway. I am gonna stress til I find out.
Look up repair shops on the computer and find a good one. Read the reviews.

OK. Before bedtime catch up!

Those dang engine lights. My dad has a little gizmo reader you can plug into the car... I forget what it's called, but it accesses the engine computer and reads out the codes. You look up the codes in the book and find out what's wrong with the car.

#1's car passed smog this morning! :wootHe borrowed grandpa's reader gizmo and found out why his check engine light was on, did a little research, and found that it could have been as simple as needing a new gas cap. The seal on his was gnarly and cracked, so he got a new one and voila, the engine light went off!! Passed smog the next day. :) Makes me feel good that we traveled so far and took a big chance on that old car, but it's proving to be a great deal. I was expecting several hundred dollars worth of work.
Only thing needs doing now it to get the brake rotors resurfaced, or replaced, depending on the price.

Yay to passing smog!!! I've had a couple cars over the years throw the "check your gas cap you twit" code lol. Lucky his monitors reset so quick, I remember my old s/v70s took FOREVER for the monitors to clear.
Hope mine is that simple but 2 things at once makes me wonder if I cracked something under there. I dont remember doing anything though.
There could be two unrelated issues. Are you noticing a lack of power? Is the exhaust any kind of funky/color/opaqueness?
Good to know, Wishing! I'm gonna hunt me one of those engine readers. I bought an '04 Jeep Liberty and the engine light is on. Hopefully it will be an easy fix like that. But, er, I also think I may have a busted leaf spring. 🙄
Code readers are awesome. I had a cheapie for when I lived solo, and hubs of course has a top of the line pro end one. Even a cheapie will do what a "normal" person needs though - read the codes and reset them.
Just checked with hubs... called OBD2 On Board Diagnostic 2. Good as far back as 1995. Not sure if it works on brand new cars.
Sure does. They still use OBD-II
Both Curly and solstice were off the charts squirley today I suspect maybe they were "in season" Curly "escaped" and was NOT interested in treats just in smelling the air for "boys" Vicki and I finally managed to get her back in the paddock.

Also had to fix fence anchors that Rod some how managed to break in the Rodeo grounds while putting hay in for the Golden bull and the 3 stodges. Of course 2 screws into the job and the battery dies on the drill.

Rod's excuse was he didn't know where the anchors were BULL in the same place they have been for 8 flipping years. UNlike him I actually put stuff back where I got it from. :rant
Curly is going into season already? How old is she? When do yaks reach maturity?

I'll be back on in a sec to post the Daily Goose Pic ;)

Tom wants to take it to a man in Osgood we had work done there before. He seems honest. He charged to look at it but then applied that to the total bill . I have his phone # sitting here.
