Granny's gone and done it again

I miss him so much. I learned soooo much from that old man. He grew up on a farm, was a Pearl Harbor survivor, and just amazing human being. He told the most amazing stories! I remember one about him playing marbles with the Hatfield's and the McCoy's kids. They're some rival gangs or something that are in history books, lol. You could Google them I'm sure. Fun stuff though. Lol
Two feuding families that fought n killed each other for generations. Wow! Marbles! Amazing!

If you sent me a pr of earrings that belonged to your aunt and I sold them for $50. how would that make you feel? I just dont feel right about it. I think I will turn it into a flower pot maybe. Or use it and take a couple of these others down. The bigger they are the less work they need. Maybe he wont even bring it. That might be better yet.
If you fill it with dirt it will weigh even more than if you fill it with water, won't it? 🤔

It would be fine with me. You HOPE a gift that you give someone is something they will like and appreciate and want to keep. That doesn't always happen, and I wouldn't want the reciever to feel obligated to keep something they don't really want. That would make my gift a burden. I wouldn't like that.
