I need your help, guys. One of GirlChild's co-workers has tested positive. I don't know what to do. She is at work now. Do I quarantine her at home? How do we do that? I can't have DH or me getting this.

They are freeloading right now. I have two hens that are laying, my Amerauracana started laying today after molt and a little bantam egg today told me that one of the spring pullets have started laying. I'm getting a couple, 3 eggs a week right now.

I only leave supplemental lighting when the weather is cloudy or bad. When I was trying to stimulate laying, I would put the lights on a timer. They would go off at 8pm. I can't remember when I had them set to go on but from memory I think I ran them 8-10 hours, probably closer to ten.

they will reset after the winter solstice. I just let mine be on a natural cycle.

I normally do too but it seems they went off lay really early this year..

No. She works part time at a fast food place. And we could not afford that either. She lives with us, trying to get on her feet.

I think we can do this. There is a bathroom near her room. We can work it out so that nobody uses it but her. It will inconvenience her brother more than anyone. She'll get tested. We can do this.
