It has been enforced before. So, to be on the safe side, I spend the few bucks to ensure nothing happens...

the tax you all so dread to pay is not merely a tax grab. it's used to fund the operations of animal services which is in high demand due to surrenders, back yard / irresponsible breeders, and animal over population. the vet bills required to either cure or kill an animal, along with the staffing costs, and the general operations of animal services costs money.

I think that there are too many unwanted starving dogs roaming the streets in my city, the "enforcers" would never be able to enforce the licensing issue here.
