Granny's gone and done it again

Two other things I would check is her gums and her kidneys. Lift her lip and check the color of her gums. If they are very pale, close to white, I would worry and maybe try to get her in to vet. And place your palms over her kidneys, alongside her spine between ribs and hips. If you feel significant heat or swelling, or if she seems tender or ouchy, time to see the vet. Maybe she just ate something she shouldn't and it will resolve quickly. One certainly hopes!

I forgot to check her gums. I did all the rest of that.

I dont have any. I can offer her a treat. I seen Robert giving the other 2 his beets today. I had already told him to not feed her any scraps.
When I have people who want to give my dogs people food, I tell them they may do so, on two conditions. First, they must eat an equal amount of the dog's food. And second, they have to clean up when the dog pukes. No questions, no judgment, no argument, no criticism. Just clean it up, end of story. Thank you so much. Of course it can't be anything known to be toxic to dogs, like potatoes, grapes, etc.

Yeah hubs is playing call of duty with his off roading buddies - the topic of conversation right now is King of the Hammers - the big offroad race near Joshua Tree/Johnson Valley. They're talking about testing everyone at the gate, not sure how they'll enforce the social distancing/masking, but I'm sure good ol Gavvy will shut it down.

haha. That's why I just use fitted sheets on my futon. Super easy to take em off and toss in the wash! (I have a washable cover for it - but it's gentle wash, hang to dry...ain't nobody got time for that!

Keep an eye on her - try to see if she's still drinking, if she's pooping (if so, hard poop, soft poop, all out mudbutt...) if she's peeing...she may just have a little tummy bug, and it'll resolve itself on its own, but if she's not drinking or mudbutt goes on for a while, or she's just not peeing/pooping at all, that's when you might need some intervention.

*edit* We've been getting warnings today that they're probably going to shut off our power again tomorrow. Heads up if you don't see me, that's why. I've already pre-run the extension cord to the motorhome and through the garage so I don't have to worry about manually opening the garage door to get it run mwahaha. (Yes, the inverter on my motorhome can power my fridge. YAY)
Part two of the lucky - I've got stuff saved locally on my lappy so if I don't have power/internet, I can still do some work from home stuff. Huzzah.
Did you end up losing a lot in your refrigerator?

We watched one of the Night at the Museum movies and Beauty and the Beast. We don't have subscriptions to any of the Premium channels, just basic DirecTV. Saw the list of all the Christmas movies you guys were talking about and I don't think we get most of them. Oh well.
Ghost Busters was one I recorded months ago. Don't remember the channel, but it had lots of commercials which we fast forwarded through. Never would have sat through all of them!

Hows Scooter doing Wishing ?
He seems fine. He was protecting us from ferocious kitties in the neighbor's yard today... barking up a storm and wouldn't stop when I called, so had to go get him. Few barks is okay, but I won't let him keep it up for long. I think he loves watching the kitties run away. Our cats in the house really push him around, so I guess it's misplaced revenge!

I did, out of an abundance of caution. It might have been ok but it felt...not cold to me.

What makes me sad is I had some Costco stuff in there (mmm chicken tortilla soup) and with the new and improved restrictions....sigh. Costco trips may not happen for a while.

We’re all set ready to plug in though if they cut us off tonight. And if they do it in the morning after I go to work, I’m still only half days so it’ll be fine til I get home.
