I want a fire. It's been warm this week and will be for another day or so, but I need to have the wood stove serviced this week. Last fire we had. Smoke came pouring in the house instead of going up the chimney. Scary! Definitely needs cleared and cleaned.

Granny, the difference between chicken dark meat and quail meat, is quail meat is not fatty.

I can not get turkey starter crumbles in my area, so. . . I use the highest protein chick starter I can find ( crumbles) as add a little ground up, high protein cat food for the first 8 to 10 weeks. After that, I used just a plain layer crumbles. Not expensive, when I can get the 50# bags.

I bought 100# of chick starter, and a big block of pine shavings. Tax and all, was only 38 bucks.
