Granny's gone and done it again

I'm sorry! My Mother suffered from arrhythmia for years. She hated it. I've experienced it mildly before but nothing severe. I hope they get to the bottom of it quickly for you.
I take meds for this. Helps you not feel them as much. Metropolol

I got an alert for this thread about 10:30 am and then no more. Seems odd.

That's actually normal. If you don't check the thread when you get a notification then it doesn't continue to give you more notifications. It's really common for me to lose track of busy threads like this one because of that.
If you go to your "watched threads" you will be able to see which ones you're missing notifications on because they'll be in bold writing.

Howdy everyone. Long day made longer by a long last night. Scooter had another seizure at midnight. Second one at 5:30 am. Needless to say, I be tired! Dog is okay now, but it sure takes him a long time to recover. He wanders off all around the house, falls over a lot, and when I call him, he can't find me. :( He's too young to be that old.

So, question about cooking old chickens. I have a couple of 3-yo BO in the freezer. I put one in the crockpot Friday with water and a little salt. Made excellent broth! Which I used to make dumplings. But I didn't use the meat off that bird. Instead I used one of the jars of pressure-canned thighs I had put up earlier in the week. It was quick, easy and amazingly fast. My question is, does anybody have any recommendations for how I can use the meat off that old bird? Honestly, I have used the meat off one that old before in my soups and dumplings and have found it to be a little stringy and tough. Open for suggestions. Thanks.

Aha! Thank you!
