That's a different thing. Usually in bugs and half the animal has male sex organs the other half female. Like a chimera, sort split down the middle.
A hermaphrodite has neither male nor female sex organs (ambiguous) but has both types of gonads to produce both types of sex cells (like egg and sperm).

do you know if the male changes to female if babies will result ?
Not sure. Do you mean like the one fish can fertilize its own eggs? There are a few animals that can do that. I think. Been awhile since I studied all that.

Mine too, the doctor sat down and talked to me about the surgery like it was the end of the world and by the end of our chat I had him laughing so hard he had to leave the room. Lol

no I started w/ 2 males
and I am wondering if I can expect babies ?
