No, trust me, he walks up the driveway to get the mail daily. Sometimes a couple times if the mail lady is late. He noticed.

I just had a thought. That was probably where they came up with clumping litter. Clay that got wet. LOL

That is like here and parts of Lake Erie area. But there is also lots of fertile black soil in that area as well. Remember, that area used to be "the Black Swamp" until they drained it.

It's in the 50s here today. First day of winter/the solstice. 50+ degrees! and 60 tomorrow!

My roosters are going nuts. They are sure it's spring and need to kill one another over breeding rights with the hens. Even the bachelors are acting up. I just separated two that were going at it, one bloodied and with only one good eye and a beak that is still growing back in from a fight with another rooster last year. He kept jumping back down from the roost bar and going at it again till he was really a bloody mess. I put him back up and this time he's staying. I told him I'd either duct tape his beak back on or have him for dinner if he kept going.

I wish the cold weather would come back so they would go back to winter mode.
