Granny's gone and done it again

Yeeks! I have been told I have "a little arthritis" in my left shoulder, but not what kind. See a neurologist or neurosurgeon Jan. 8 about my neck and expect to be told I have "a little arthritis" there, too, affecting my arms, shoulders and hands. Thanks for this discussion. I will try to pin him down on exactly what kind I have.

I would. I'm still trying to pin mine down on the third rheumatic type of arthritis I have.

I get a lot of my information from this site concerning spine health and problems. Lot's of self help suggestions also.

Granny, I wore my hair long for decades. I finally had to cut it two years ago this Feb. At that time it was knee length. I couldn't take care of it any more bc of my shoulders. The day I cut it, I could hear and feel my neck cracking and popping. People used to ask me if my hair gave me headaches and it never did. But I wonder now if the weight affected my neck.
and I have wanted long hair my whole life. I never cut it, it just wont grow.
I guess it could have bothered your neck. Thats a lot of hair !

Thats a good idea blue . From what I have learned here different types can be helped by different diets sometimes.
Absolutely. Sugar and simple carbs like white flour, white rice, cause inflammation and pain. Whole grains, fresh fruits and veggies, beans, nuts, are best for our bodies. Don't have to be raw, just fresh, not highly processed.

I wish my neck would just pop. It's to the place where it crunches and grinds and it hurts when it does it.

Worst is when I sneeze or cough really hard and the lightening bolts go down my arms and I can't use them for about 5 minutes.
my neck and back does that when I cough or sneeze too. My arms are ok though

Mine started "growing" when I started keeping it in a sock at night. Mostly, hair breaks at shoulder length bc we roll around on it when we're sleeping. You could also braid it. I think that's why Mennonite and Amish women have such long hair.

Granny, I think if we were meant to eat meat, we would have teeth like a dog, a cat or a tiger. Instead we have teeth more like those of sheep and cows. Dogs and cats don't chew their food, they gulp it, and have very short guts. We have molars for chewing and very long intestines for digesting. Can't argue against the taste of meat, though! 😋
