Granny's gone and done it again

Sorry to hear! Hope it is nothing serious. Keep us posted. Will you take him to the vet? Can they dx with a blood sample?
Thanks. He is a bit better tonight, so I will hold off on the vet for now. I don't like not being able to go in with them (stupid covid).

Your Lucy is living the life! My younger son says he wants to come back as a cat... lay around, do nothing. He's coming pretty close over this winter break!

Oh, and is she strictly indoor? Mine always went on walks with me, better than a dog, because he didn't run off to chase rabbits or squirrels. Very loyal, came when called and made a good watch-cat. Very alert. Played soccer with wadded-up cig packs when I smoked.

Typo

Lol, tell him everybody has to pay rent and he'd better learn to like the taste of mice. Raw. 😜

Yes, they are curious and bold! Anything scary or weird, they approach and check out. She will get darker with age. She appears to be a blue-point.

I'm so jealous right now, lol!
She is at least 8 yrs old. I haven't noticed any darkening yet.

Yes, indoor. There are cat-eating bobcats and the odd mountain lion roaming through the area. She comes out with me in the back yard sometimes, but she'll wander off and jump fences. She is not afraid of dogs, but with some neighboring dogs, she should be.

We had a blue eyed siamese with the white legs, bib and blaze. Nothing could keep Sid inside. He tore every screen in the house and refused to use a litter box. He would go on walks with us and made the rounds of the neighborhood... hunting rats in George's barn and keeping company with an older gentleman when he did yardwork. Sid didn't come home one night. Pretty sure the bobcat George saw on his property got Sid along with another cat that went missing at the same time. Maybe 9 years of living large was better than having to stay inside. At least it was for Sid.

Eight years old! That's amazing! By her coloring, I assumed she was a kitten under a year old. Well, I am even more in love with her now. My Pippi and Simon were both tabby points, so I would assume that's why they darkened. I don't know what Lucy is. She looks more blue or lavender than anything, but she has gotten so dark that she now looks blue-grey all over. My late MIL used to say she looks like she just came down the chimney. "Looks dirty," she'd say.

Sorry to hear about Sid. We had a tabby wild thing like that. We think an eagle got him. Yeah, some critters (and people), it just ain't right to keep 'em locked up, even if it is for their own safety.

Ming is the size of a kitten. Hubs says we've had Henry for 7 yrs. Ming was here before him, for about a year, and she was full grown at that time, so at least 8yrs old. Probably 9+. She had a litter of 3 kittens at the shelter and they had most of her crumbling teeth removed. No fangs left! Another reason to keep her inside. Can't really defend herself.
