Granny's gone and done it again

You know, @prostar, showing pictures of lounging outside with no coat to people in the midwest during winter could be described as cruel and inhuman punishment by some. :lau Like those of us putting on a hoodie, heavy gloves and a winter coat just to go out to feed the chickens!

Just kidding. I loved the pictures of you and your fur children.

Belated Merry Christmas, Pro.

lol I’ve done my time ;) I lived in Alberta before I moved down here.
Hark! I am caught up and it is not 10:30! Star, where is your Goose puppy and who is that large white dog chillin' with your DH??? 🤣 Methinks he still has a lotta growing to do, lookit dem feets!

Sounds like everyone had a good Christmas. Granny, I love the leg lamp, where did you find that? Guessing it is about 3" tall? That would be so cute in the back or front window of a car. I got a turkey ham, how about slicing yours thin, shmearing it with cream cheese, sprinkling some herbs on it and rolling it up, wrapping it in plastic wrap, refrigerate till chilled, unwrap and cut into pinwheels? If you have tortillas you could use those too. Hmmm. Chopped green onion would be nice on these. A little garlic powder. Shredded cheese. Got any of that?
I know!!! He’s gotten so big!!! He’s 18 weeks now.

I say it feels like somebody is hammering nails into my joints. I've had a few episodes with the family 'cane'. One when my back flared and the other when the doctor tried me on a new muscle relaxer and I had a severe adverse reaction to it that caused crippling muscle pain. Like, thanks doc, the joint pain wasn't enough?

Funny thing was, I was the one who figured out what was happening to me. I was to the point where all I could do was lie in bed from the pain. Suddenly my 'nurse' kicked in and I remembered when I was working and a patient/resident who suddenly developed strange symptoms the first thing we would ask ourselves is 'what changed for this patient'? We would go through the charts, checking for new medicines and 9 times out of ten that was what was causing the problem.

Have you ever tried a heated mattress pad? We love ours. It works wonders for back and shoulder pain. The worse we hurt the higher we crank it up.
Hmm, I had one at one time. Thanks, I'll get one for this bed. We got a king-size adjustable a year or so ago and didn't get one after that, I forgot. That will help because usually I wake up in pain because my arms are out of the blankets. Thanks! :hugs

Tomorrow is my time to get older day. Sad I can't go out to dinner. The day after that I am going shopping in Martinsville. Need feed again.
Well. Happy birthday anyway, Cap! Find a way to celebrate anyhow. We can't let stupid Covid take everything away!

Dang it Blue, I keep thinking about them roll ups you mentioned. Im gonna have to make some. So ham, cream cheese and ?? What herbs would you use ?
I dono. Garlic powder for sure, I LOVE garlic. Then whatever sounds good. What goes with ham? Help us out, you guys. Better yet, what do you have on hand, Granny? Tell us and we'll help you pick. Do you have cheese you can grate? Sharp cheddar sounds good if you have it. .

Changed live to love.
