I have a little OEGB BBR hen that does that with me. the minute I walk into the coop she flies to me no matter where she is and sits on my hand, arm, shoulder, whatever is handy and waits to be petted and carried around.

@CapricornFarm, Praying that you get the answers that you are looking for. Not knowing is the worst thing.

Didn't make any progress on my nets. They had thawed but they were frozen to the ground. Oh well, glad I have extra net.

This particular girl always follows me around while I feed the animals (whenever they free range), and today the guineas got after her so she ran from them until she was out of breath. So, I went and got her, and she happily scratched around for at least 30 minutes in the old (now dead, winter) flower bed beside where I was sitting.
