When it really is the right time, I think it's easier. Never really easy, but it helps if you know you can keep them from suffering.

I feel like she is suffering now. I guess thats why I brought it up. I see her try to jump and fall a lot. She will only lay on the floor now so Robert got her a really nice bed. She tries to jump up on the side of the ramp outside amd falls instead of starting at the bottom.

wonder if I would be pushing my luck if I washed the fish gravel tonight. Its in the way of AM coffee.

I think animals, like people, get accustomed to getting older with aches and pains. Suffering? Maybe. If she is eating and pooping and making the effort, even if she falls, then she still has the will to live. It's when they can't get up or stop eating that makes me think it's time. My dog Lucy wanted to go outside, but then she turned in circles and wouldn't lay down. Vet said that type of agitation was a sign it was her time.

she will go to the dorr then stop at the door while the other 2 go out. I think they pick on her out there. She dont hang with them.
