Granny's gone and done it again

My aunt’s pair of bb red OEGBs got separated. A dog killed Minnie, the hen. And left the rooster, Hay Hay (Hei Hei... but she spells it the other way). He’s been alone for weeks and she can’t go out there with him everyday like she used to due to her health. She’s already having funeral arrangements made. I agreed to take the rooster, he is so sweet and isn’t at all scared of people. He’s definitely been pampered. My aunt is starting to give away all of her things, and with the arrangements being made... I cried the whole way home. I know if she passes Hay Hay is going to be a constant reminder. But she absolutely loves this bird, so I’ll do my best to keep him happy and healthy.

I got another piece of plywood on the coop today. And I am so pleased to see the green grass coming up.

Lifetime resources just called to offer Tom the covid vaccine. It was 80 and older but they changed that to 70 and older. He said he dont want to take it unless we can get it too. I am trying to tell him it would hit him harder then it would Robert. sigh.. stubborn old man.
My dad is 88. His dr told him to wait until we find out what the side effects are. Basically everyone getting the vaccine is a test study. Normal vaccine studies are 5 years before they release the vaccine to the public.
