Granny's gone and done it again

something interesting today. At the store Robert commented on a boys mask. He said thats the only person in here wearing the right kind of mask. The man and his son was behind us in line and I struck up a convo telling him what Robert had said. His son w/ the mask was autistic. severely non verbal but the dad said it was the only mask he would tolerate. I asked Robert would he wear one like that and he said no.

See if you can get him to set up and follow some meal planning/schedule/routine. May help.
Goose is insistent on eating his chewy in my lap. He’s not a mamas boy at all.
Truthfully when I started looking I was looking for a female and was thinking I’d be more in the 70 lb range. But the stars aligned that goose was meant to be and I figured I’d have a 80-90 lb pup. I’m not too concerned.

cant wear them. Hates the music. Its the same thing as the mask. Its just torture for him.
Hows your foot ?
I didn't mean music, I meant like a construction worker would wear. Either those things you stick in your ears to block sound, or the big sound-blocking ear muffs people wear on construction sites. They can be amazingly effective.

I'm still hobbling. I see a foot doctor on the 16th. X-ray showed no bone injury, as expected. The velcro brace I've been wearing actually works best so far. I did get a boot the other day and it's going to work good if I don't have to move around much. DH and I ran some errands with it on the day I got it, and it was very uncomfortable for running around in. It's very restrictive.

diabetes is dimming his eye sight.
Sorry to hear this, did not know Robert was diabetic. In my visit with my PA the other day (follow-up after being in hospital), we talked about my so-called diabetes. She said my A1C was 5.2. Anything below 5.7 is considered normal, so I got her to remove "diabetic" from my chart. It was a different dr that put me down as "glucose intolerant" about 5 or 6 years ago; I never did believe I was diabetic. If I was ever even pre-diabetic, I control it with diet.

I understood what you meant I was just answering the next question. LOL I dont think he can stand anything touching his face at all. He didnt wear them when he shot his gun.
My boot was velcro. Its supposed to be restrictive but I remember how uncomfortable it was. I am supposed to be wearing it any time my foot hurts which would be all the time.
Sucks you have to wait that long. You dr could of ordered the MRI . foot dr. gonna want one anyway I think.

I don't think there is any doubt he is the right companion for you. He has really helped heal your heart!
