Well, I just tried it as is. Supposed to insert the picture between the center two brackets around spoiler, yes?

Yrs. Now try it, removing the letter "I" from before the word Spoiler" in both places.

When I did the spoiler the other day I didnt do any of this stuff and it worked ok

I'll let tech fix it. We shouldn't have to remove anything to get it to work. They wouldn't have intentionally written the code to do that.
