I didnt earn enough work credits so I get income based SSI instead of regular SS or SSD. Because we are married. If we divorced or something happens to him because we have been married at least 10 years I will get 80% of what he draws and I will never get medicare.

nope. SSI is different. I didnt pay enough into it to earn it when I turn 63

Oh, yeah. I know people that worked for the city and don’t get SS because they pay into cal pers. they had to go out and get a regular job for so many quarters to get Medicare.
