Yeah, you can set quail eggs any time, where ducks are more seasonal.

I took a nap myself, my back was acting up, and didn't feel like doing anything until I rested it. Am much better now.

Chickens can sure be horrible to each other. My poor Crested Cream Legbar pullet got the back of her neck all ripped up by the three. Bantam cochin pullets that are smaller, but possibly older than she is. Great big hole, the size of a quarter where all the skin has been ripped off! I was just getting ready to sell her and this happens! So she's in a quail pen in the barn by herself. Those cochin pullets may get some of their own medicine when I move them in with the other pair of mottled cochins!
