Back from ER with both boys . CB is completely impacted . I can not get him to stop eating. He is on my last nerve. I asked the dr how am I supposed to know when its bad or when he is bound up ?? He said and I quote,"tell him to jump up and down, If the pain remains the same or doesn't get worse he is impacted". He said he was all the way full. That there was no way he has been pooping like he told me he was. It is so bad he is puking . He has drank half a bottle of the mag. citrate and needs the other half tomorrow. Guess what he is doing ? eating. He whines, cries, argues says he is starving. I told him he is not starving it just feels like it because that's the body's way of trying to push it through. He pukes and eats 3 min. later. Dr said for him to poop 12 inches a day as he claims and still have that much in there he would need to consume 10,000 calories a day. No school til Monday.

Next boy, ringing in the right ear. He has fluid behind BOTH ears and it is a lot. Dr. said if he blew his nose he would of busted his ear drum. 4 different meds. for him. Robert dont understand why they insisted on motrin for pain when he has none and refuses to take it. (remember me saying he dont feel pain like others ?) This is why I have to keep a close eye on him. All he did was ask if there were any ear drs. around because one ear was ringing. I thought this would be a great opportunity to get Robert in the shower so I told him hot water running gentle on your head will help you and the Dr. about turned purple and said absolutely NOT. Stay out of the water. (SIGH)

Then to the good news, NOT I had to buy bottled water for CB because he refuses tap . All the prescriptions I took to CVS were NOT covered by his insurance and it ended up costing $46.00 for every thing. I wrote a rubber check. Tom has overdraw protection on the checking account so I will need to pay the bank a very small fee but thats it.

So , I am finally resting, Its been a long day . Still having bladder cramps but not as bad. Tom came to tell me good night and said, "Dont forget to call and make me a drs. appt. tomorrow."

So sorry granny! :hugs

I have a friend who doesn't feel pain. I told her that even though the pain signals aren't processing in her brain, her body still feels it and won't be able to heal properly if it's stressed.

I am sorry if I confused you. We are collecting money for a gift certificate to mpc for Sally as a get well gift. They would not collect it, and several people wanted to have their amounts private. Therefore, I asked a friend who is not on BYC if she would collect the money and a list of the names from BYC. Then she will give me the names and just the total money donated for me to pass to Alex at BYC who said they would do it for Sally and would contribute too.

PM me if you want a PayPal or snail mail address to contribute. This is not have too, I just know several people on this thread really like Sally and thought they might want in on the get well soon gift.
