asking me to translate, and then asking questions about a routine. "what do you do after you shower".. the answer would be whatever " i get dressed" in spanish is.

Well, if you weren't prepared, part of that burden falls on the teacher. If you have been showing up and paying attention and then she asks you stuff that hasn't been covered, that isn't fair.
Does she give vocabulary lists to memorize?

I am in the process of learning it and I too remember "muy poco"

its another grad requirement.

why do they require us to do so much..

They have lowered the requirements from when I was in school. The university system here in CA required 4 years of a language. And even then I had to take a semester of German on top of that. Ich weiss nicht!

I took french I dont remember much of it. Not enough to hold a convo. I learned more spanish in the hood then I did in the school.

I was trying my best but there is only so much I can comprehend staring at a screen for 45 mins a day
