I thought you could throw the mats away once they were shaved off!

mats will come off in sheets to be thrown away, but they will come back without daily brushing. not for awhile, because the hair has to be long enough to tangle.. but eventully

They look like the start of a Bev Doolittle painting. If I look long enough I'm sure i'll see the word "LOVE" in there somewhere!

well the pile sort of slid outwards. At one point it was 3 pups deep sort of like a pyramid .
