I bought one back before covid. Hasn't been off except for outages and going strong. Only complaint is the receptical jacks where you plug in DVD player or whatever is odd colors instead of red, yellow and white. These are mauve and purple and green or some such.

I don't have cable, we just use my dad's computer and a HDMI cord so that we can watch youtube and other stuff.

Is that what that cord is for.

make sure its well stuck into the back of the TV. it could also just be the power cord is shot.

I have had all these issues which is why I ask.

maybe it got the channel it needs to operate on changed. Try changing the channel to the one your provider requires.
