they always do that

for the week we do chores and often we get rewarded with food, such as going out for dinner, or getting coffee at starbucks

but

My kids get an allowance, but they do chores. They pay tithe out of it, and half of the total goes into the bank toward their college fund. The rest is their pocket money. The Kid is a hoarder, his sister spent hers like water. He now has enough saved up to buy himself an Xbox, about $300.

Most of the time we don't even get a prize

we just do it everyday, "or else"
